Lantik Pjs Bupati, Pesan Wagub : Ciptakan Pilkada yang Aman dan Damai

Tujuh Penjabat Sementara (Pjs) bupati di Provinsi Papua, resmi dikukuhkan Wakil Gubernur Papua Klemen Tinal, Senin (28/9/2020),di Gedung Negara Dok V Atas, Jayapura. 

Ketujuh Pjs Bupati yang dilantik, yakni Asisten Bidang Umum Sekda Papua Ridwan Rumasukun sebagai Pjs Bupati Keerom, Asisten Bidang Perekonomian dan Kesra Sekda Papua Muhammad Musa’ad sebagai Pjs Bupati Waropen dan Staf Ahli Gubernur Papua Simeon Itlay sebagai Pjs Bupati Yalimo.

Kemudian, Staf Ahli Gubernur Papua Bidang Ekonomi Hosea Murib selaku Pjs Bupati Yahukimo, Staf Ahli Gubernur Papua bidang Pengembangan Otsus Triwarno Purnomo sebagai Pjs Bupati Asmat, Staf Ahli Gubernur Papua Bidang Pengembangan Masyarakat Adat Paskalis Netep sebagai Pjs Bupati Boven Digoel serta Kepala Biro Tata Pemerintahan dan Otsus Setda Papua Jimmy Wanimbo selaku Pjs Bupati Pegunungan Bintang.

Usai pengukuhan, Wagub Klemen meminta para Pjs Bupati agar memastikan pelaksanaan Pilkada di wilayahnya berjalan aman dan damai. 

“Tentunya dengan melakukan koordinasi secara intens bersama forkompinda setempat sebagai mitra kerja. Dengan begitu, kita harap tercipta suasana Pilkada yang aman dan damai,” harap ia.

Wagub pada kesempatan itu juga mengingatkan kepala daerah yang wilayahnya menjadi penyelenggara pilkada serentak 2020 untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan penerapan protokol kesehatan.

Lebih khusus, bagi pejabat sementara bupati yang baru dikukuhkan, agar dapat memastikan penerapan protokol kesehatan selama pelaksanaan tahapan pilkada serentak 2020.

“Intiny di masa pandemi Covid-19 ini, protokol kesehatan harus ditaati dan dipatuhi dengan baik didalam seluruh tahapan penyelenggaraan Pilkada”.

“Termasuk kepada peserta, calon lalu petugas pelaksana dalam pilkada serentak agar seluruhnya dipastikan memenuhi protokol kesehatan,” pungkasnya.

Diketahui, tujuh penjabat sementara bupati yang dilantik, berasal dari pejabat tinggi pratama dari lingkungan Pemerintah Provinsi Papua. 

Sementara empat kabupaten dari 11 yang menyelenggarakan Pilkada serentak, tidak dilakukan pengisian penjabat sementara, yakni Supiori, Nabire, Merauke dan Mamberamo Raya.

Masa jabatan Bupati Supiori dan Nabire sudah genap dua periode. Sedangkan Merauke dan Mamberamo Raya, bupati serta wakil bupatinya tak maju dalam pilkada.

Seven Acting Regents (Pjs) in Papua, officially confirmed by Papua Deputy Governor Klemen Tinal, Monday (9/28/2020), at Dok V State Building, Jayapura.

The seven Pjs Regents appointed, namely Assistant General Of Papua Secretary Ridwan Rumasukun as Pjs Regent keerom, Assistant for Economic Affairs and People’s Welfare Papua Muhammad Musa'ad as Pjs Regent Waropen and Expert Staff of Papua Governor Simeon Itlay as Pjs Regent Yalimo.

The Expert Staff of The Governor of Papua Economic Affairs Hosea Murib as Pjs Regent Yahukimo, Expert Staff of the Governor of Papua in Special Autonomy Development Triwarno Purnomo as Pjs Regent Asmat, Expert Staff of the Governor of Papua In the Field of Indigenous Development Paskalis Netep as Pjs Regent Boven Digoel and Head of The Governance Bureau and Special Autonomy Papua Jimmy Wanimbo as Pjs Regent of Bintang Mountains.

After the inauguration, Deputy Governor Klemen asked the Regents to ensure the implementation of elections in his area was safe and peaceful. 

"Certainly by coordinating intensely with the local Forkompinda as a partner, we hope to create a safe and peaceful atmosphere of elections," he hoped.

On that occasion, the Deputy Governor also reminded regional heads whose regions are organizing simultaneous elections in 2020 to improve the discipline of the implementation of health protocols.

Especially, for the newly confirmed interim regent officials, in order to ensure the implementation of health protocols during the implementation of concurrent election stages 2020.

"During the Covid-19 pandemic, health protocols must be adhered to and adhered to properly in all stages of organizing elections".

"Including participants, candidates and acting officers in simultaneous elections so that they are all confirmed to meet health protocols," he concluded.

It is known that seven acting interim regents were appointed, from high-ranking primary officials from the Papua Provincial Government.

While four districts out of 11 held simultaneous elections, there was no provisional filling, namely Supiori, Nabire, Merauke and Mamberamo Raya.

The tenure of Regent Supiori and Nabire has been even two periods. Merauke and Mamberamo Raya, the regent and his deputy regents did not run in the Regional Election.
