The teaching and learning process in Puncak Regency is temporarily conducted face-to-face, with regard to the alleged burning of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) in the region.
Nevertheless, the teaching and learning process is ensured to follow established health protocols.
That is, said the Head of the Department of Education, Library and Regional Archives of Papua Province, Christian Sohilait, on Tuesday.
"While waiting for improvement, the schools affected by the Base Transceiver Station dropout in Puncak, the school is currently conducting face-to-face learning".
"There is no other way than a face-to-face school. Because children have to keep learning while waiting for the Ministry of Communication and Information to make repairs to the network" he said.
Sohilait on that occasion regretted the alleged burning of BTS that should not have happened.
Especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic as it is today, the children need the knowledge.
