JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government held a Development Planning Deliberation agenda for the preparation of the Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) 2025-2045, at one of the star hotels in Jayapura City, Wednesday (24/4/2024).
The agenda is also coupled with the Regional Apparatus Work Plan (RKPD) and Development Planning Deliberation of Special Autonomy 2025.
Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun advised that the three major agendas discussed in the Development Planning Deliberation must prioritize five things.
Includes improving the quality of human resources, inclusive economic growth, accelerating development, and improving security and governance.
"RKPD has a very strategic position. The preparation is done to realize synergy between planning, budgeting, implementation, and supervision. Meanwhile, preparing the RKPD is also to realize efficiency and allocation of regional development resources."
"In addition, development carried out by regions must support the implementation of national-level development including Development Planning Deliberation of Special Autonomy. The great hope is that it can produce various ideas to answer the development issues that are being faced," explained Ridwan.
Meanwhile, Head of Regional Development Planning, Research and Innovation (Bapperida) Papua, Yohanes Walilo said it aims to submit the draft of RPJPD 2025-2045 and RKPD 2025.
Especially in the context of sharpening, aligning, clarifying and agreeing on the vision, mission and policy direction.
"At the same time agree on development issues and development priorities. In addition, completing regional development programs and activities with national development targets and priorities," he said.
He added that the Development Planning Deliberation was also to clarify the program of activities under the provincial authority with district / city activities. ***
