JAYAPURA – In response to the findings in the 2024 Regional Government Financial Report by the Audit Board of Indonesia, the Papua Provincial Government, through Acting Head of the Inspectorate Danny Korwa, along with the Regional Civil Service Agency and the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency, is committed to resolving the issues within 60 days as mandated.
"The Papua Provincial Government will review the findings and recommendations outlined in the audit report by the Audit Board of Indonesia," said Danny.
He added that the results will then be reported back to the Audit Board of Indonesia's Representative Office in Papua.
According to Danny, the Governor always emphasizes that the leaders of regional apparatus organizations must be attentive to management-related tasks within their respective units, especially those concerning the management of civil servants.
"We are grateful for the unqualified opinion received, but there are still issues that need to be addressed, particularly those noted by the Audit Board of Indonesia," he stated.
He also called for collaborative efforts among all regional apparatus organizations within the Papua Provincial Government.
As is known, based on the audit results of the 2024 financial report, including an evaluation of the action plans already implemented, the Audit Board of Indonesia granted an unqualified opinion on the Papua Provincial Government's 2024 financial statements. ***
