JAKARTA – The Papua Provincial Liaison Office in Jakarta organized a program to distribute food packages and provide free health checkups for Papuan diaspora communities in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek) on September 27, 2025.
This initiative was not only about assistance but also a tangible expression of care, solidarity, and brotherhood. The Papua Provincial Government seeks to ensure that Papuans living away from home continue to feel supported and connected, as though they remain part of one big family in their homeland.
The first distribution took place at Cenderawasih II dormitory, Kepu, Kemayoran – Central Jakarta, before being expanded to other Papuan communities across Jabodetabek.
Through this program, the Papua Liaison Office emphasized that:
The government is genuinely present for the people, both in Papua and within the diaspora.
The Liaison Office serves as a shared home that strengthens unity and brotherhood.
Papuan communities are provided with social and health support to remain strong and productive.
