JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government has emphasized the importance of accelerating the implementation of programs and activities toward the end of the 2025 fiscal year. This was conveyed by Papua Deputy Governor Aryoko Rumaropen during the handover of the Revised Budget Implementation Document (DPA-P) to all regional government organizations in Jayapura on Wednesday (October 22, 2025).
Aryoko stated that the distribution of the DPA-P marks the start of the revised budget implementation phase within the Papua Provincial Government. He urged all regional government organization leaders to immediately execute their programs in accordance with the approved work plans.
“Once you receive this budget document, it must be implemented right away because our time is limited,” he said.
He explained that the Revised Budget Implementation Document forms part of the regional budget cycle, which has been jointly reviewed with the Papua Regional House of Representatives. The local government has made several adjustments to ensure that the remaining programs are implemented more efficiently and with greater targeting during the final months of the fiscal year.
Aryoko also reminded all departments to carry out their activities with care and accountability.
“I just want to remind everyone — we only have about two and a half months left. That time must be used wisely so that budget absorption can reach its maximum potential,” he emphasized.
He expressed optimism that all regional government organizations would be able to complete their programs on schedule, ensuring that the results and benefits can be promptly felt by the community. ***
