JAYAPURA - The Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong asked for the support and cooperation of all parties in carrying out the implementation of the government in Papua.

This was stated by Ramses Limbong in his remarks at the Handover of the Acting Governor of Papua. The activity took place on the 9th floor of the Papua Governor's Office, Soa Siu Street Dok II, Jayapura City, Friday (9/8/2024).

According to him, cooperation with all parties, including the community is very important, especially in realizing a Golden Indonesia in 2045.

"We will leave a legacy in Golden Indonesia 2045. It starts from 2025 to 2045. Cooperation and togetherness are important in achieving a goal point ahead, let's work together towards it," he explained.

Meanwhile, the handover of Acting Governor of Papua, from Ridwan Rumasukun who is now back as the Regional Secretary of Papua to Ramses Limbong.

Ramses Limbong was inaugurated by the Minister of Home Affairs as Acting Governor of Papua on August 5, 2024. The appointment is related to the preparation of Ridwan Rumasukun who will enter retirement.

The Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong on that occasion also encouraged the readiness of health facilities in the region. This is to support community service programs. 

"The community is healthy if it is supported by adequate health facilities. That way, national strategic programs such as handling stunting, extreme poverty and inflation can run optimally," he said. 

On that occasion, Ramses also emphasized the neutrality of civil servants in the Regional Elections and the Papua Provincial Government's assets.

"I ask civil servants to be neutral, not to be partial. Then the handling of movable, immovable assets or mutations to the New Autonomous Region must be carried out immediately so that our balance sheet is clear," he said. ***
