He underscored the importance of preparing the 2026 Activity Budget Plan with a focus on strategic programs and initiatives that promote Papua’s development realistically and sustainably.
For SKPDs that have outstanding activity debts recorded in accordance with regulations, the Deputy Governor urged them to prioritize budget allocations to settle those obligations and firmly reminded them that no new debts should be incurred in the 2025 fiscal year.
“We must maintain a proper regional budget cycle. Therefore, no new debts should be created this year. Focus on meeting existing obligations and continuing the priority programs already in progress,” he concluded. ***
