Dekranasda Papua Promosikan Produk Unggulan pada HUT Dekranas 2026

JAYAPURA – Dewan Kerajinan Nasional Daerah (Dekranasda) Papua akan mempromosikan berbagai produk unggulan daerah pada peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-46 Dekranas di Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, 9–12 Juli 2026.

Sekretaris Dekranasda Papua Yoniman Ronting mengatakan Papua mendapat empat stan pameran yang akan diisi produk kerajinan dari kabupaten dan kota di Provinsi Papua.

“Empat stan tersebut akan dimanfaatkan untuk menampilkan berbagai produk kerajinan unggulan Papua bersama peserta dari kabupaten dan kota,” ujarnya.

Selain menampilkan hasil kerajinan, Dekranasda Papua juga menghadirkan pengrajin untuk mendemonstrasikan proses pembuatan ukiran khas Papua secara langsung kepada pengunjung.

Menurut Yoniman, keikutsertaan pengrajin menjadi bagian dari upaya memperkenalkan kekayaan seni, budaya, dan keterampilan masyarakat Papua di tingkat nasional.

Dukungan terhadap keikutsertaan kontingen Papua juga datang dari PT Jamkrida Papua. Direktur Utama PT Jamkrida Papua, Desty Pongsikabe, mengatakan dukungan tersebut merupakan bentuk sinergi dalam mempromosikan karya pengrajin dan pelaku UMKM Papua.

“Ini merupakan bentuk dukungan kami terhadap kegiatan pemerintah daerah yang akan memamerkan hasil karya anak-anak Papua di tingkat nasional,” katanya.

Melalui keikutsertaan pada HUT Dekranas 2026, Pemerintah Provinsi Papua berharap produk kerajinan daerah semakin dikenal, memperluas peluang pasar, serta mendorong pertumbuhan UMKM berbasis ekonomi kreatif. ***

JAYAPURA - The Papua Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) will promote various featured local products during the 46th anniversary of Dekranas in Makassar, South Sulawesi, from July 9 to 12, 2026.

Secretary of the Papua Regional National Crafts Council Yoniman Ronting said Papua had been allocated four exhibition booths, which will showcase craft products from regencies and cities across Papua Province.

"The four booths will be used to display various featured Papuan craft products together with participants from regencies and cities," he said.

In addition to showcasing handicrafts, the Regional National Crafts Council of Papua will also bring artisans to demonstrate the process of making traditional Papuan carvings directly to visitors.

According to Yoniman, the participation of artisans is part of efforts to introduce the richness of Papuan art, culture, and community skills at the national level.

Support for Papua's delegation also came from PT Jamkrida Papua. President Director of PT Jamkrida Papua, Desty Pongsikabe, said the support was a form of synergy in promoting the works of Papuan artisans and MSME players.

"This is our form of support for the regional government's activity to exhibit the works of Papuan youth at the national level," she said.

Through its participation in the 2026 National Crafts Council Anniversary, the Papua Provincial Government hopes that local craft products will become more widely known, expand market opportunities, and encourage the growth of MSMEs based on the creative economy. ***
