JAYAPURA – As many as 20 thousand data of honorary employees in Papua will be verified and validated by the team of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) and the Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).
This re-verification activity is planned to last for a month with the aim that the existing honorary data does not deviate from the rules set by the Government and refers to PP 11 2017 regarding the management of civil servants and others..
"Including the law on teachers and lecturers and the law on health workers. That's what we need to pay attention to," explained the Expert Staff of the MenPAN-RB in the Field of Work Culture, Teguh Widjanarko, at the coordination meeting for the verification and validation of data on honorary staff throughout Papua in Jayapura City, Friday (09/17/2021).
While other important things that are verified, added Teguh, include job analysis and workload analysis, the availability of regional budget and government rules in their respective sectors.
Head of State Civil Service Agency, Bima Haria Wibisana said the re-verification activities for honorees proposed by the local government are really in accordance with the needs, not the wishes.
The Government of Papua has been considered to propose more staff of administration than others.
"So it has to be seen, what do we need, that's what was proposed. I hope that next time proposing the appointment of honorary staff is what is really needed,” he hoped.
Meanwhile, Regional Secretary of Papua, Doren Wakerkwa hopes that related institutions in provinces and districts / cities, can prepare all the data needed to support the verification and validation. ***
