JAYAPURA - Pacific Exposition 2021 officially opened on Wednesday (10/27/2021).
The event took place on October 27-30, 2021 and was held virtually.
Papua Governor Lukas Enembe hopes that the implementation of the Pacific Exposition 2021 can boost the economy of eastern Indonesia, more specifically in Papua and become an additional engine for national economic recovery.
"This activity is also expected to be a very useful breakthrough for countries in the Pacific Region, especially Indonesia," said Governor Lukas through Spokesman M. Rifai Darus, in a release received by the editor.
The Governor of Papua on that occasion appreciated the organizing committee that held the event virtually because it was a trade show, investment and economy in the Pacific Region.
The event was attended by 20 participating countries including Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. It also allows interested parties to visit the 200 virtual booths available.
"This open access also makes the Pacific Exposition 2021 event will boost huge transactions, as targeted by the organizing committee," explained the Governor.
Governor Lukas Enembe also on that occasion reminded the Pacific Exposition 2021 should not be only for the economy, but more than that, this event also actually fosters a sense of brotherhood across countries in the Pacific Region.
