NABIRE - The Provincial Government of Papua through the Communication and Informatics Department of Papua officially handed over the multi-media display / videotron operation to the Nabire Regency government.

The inauguration and delivery of operations was held on Friday (29/10/2021), at the Nabire Regent's Office.

The handover event was attended by the Acting Regent, Member of the Regional People's Representative Council of Nabire, Regional Secretary of Nabire and the Leaders of Regional Work Unit in the Regional Government of Nabire Regency as well as Officials and Technical Teams of the Development Office of Communication and Informatics of Papua Province.

The head of Communication and Informatics Department of Papua, Jeri Agus Yudianto on that occasion said the construction of the multi-media display / videotron was the seventh time after Merauke Regency, Jayapura Regency, Jayapura City, Mimika Regency, Biak Numfor Regency and Jayawijaya Regency since 2013.

With the hope that all regencies / cities in Papua have these devices, to be used as a means of conveying local and other performance information to the community.

"So that the public knows more about the performance and activities of the government and the performance and appeals from other relevant stakeholders including the Central Government," he said.

At the same place, Acting Regent Nabire, Anthon Tony Mote in giving appreciation to the Governor of Papua who had provided the videotron.

This information tool will be used to provide information to the public.

"Moreover, some time ago before it was inaugurated it was used as a means of the community around Nabire to witness the National Sports Week XX Papua 2021 event. And will instruct the relevant agencies to make the most of it," he concluded.

It is known, in 2021 the Papua Provincial Government held a Digital-based Outdoor Media in the Courtyard of the Nabire Regent's Office.

Multi Media Display / Videotron measuring 5 x 8 meters is equipped with data communication facilities.
