JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government has prepared a strategy for managing and utilizing venues after the implementation of the National Sports Week and the National Paralympic Week 2021.
Acting Head of The Papua Sports and Youth Department (Disorda), Alexander Kapisa said the use of the venue will be encouraged to become a source of Regional Original Income (PAD).
"We divide into 3 categories of management and utilization of this venue. First, technical maintenance and management, second, the use of venues and third of course the use of venues as a source of Regional Original Income." explained Alexander Kapisa, Friday (12/11/2021), in Jayapura.
According to him, the utilization and management of National Sports Week venues has actually been prepared since 2020. With hope, the existence of the venue remains sustainable after the implementation of the two national events.
"We have been preparing this governance management since 2020. Because we learned a lot from the cases that occurred in several provinces after the implementation of National Sports Week and the National Paralympic Week, venues used to be neglected"
"We don't want it to happen in Papua," Alexander Kapisa said.
Deputy V of Presidential Staff Office, Jaleswari Pramodhawardhani on one occasion expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Papua Provincial Government which has prepared a strategy for the utilization of venues after National Sports Week and the National Paralympic Week. "Because the President wanted that we jointly prepare the management and utilization of National Sports Week facilities professionally"
