JAYAPURA - The Budget Implementation Document (DPA) of the Regional Device Work Unit (SKPD) of the Papua Provincial Government in Fiscal Year 2022, was officially submitted.

Symbolically the handover was carried out intern by the Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe, received by the head of Regional Device Work Unit of the provincial government, Monday (14/2/2022), at Lukmen I Hall, Dok II Governor's Office, Jayapura.

"First of all I thank all Regional Apparatus Organizations and employees who have completed the responsibility of preparing a legislative budget, so that the submission of the Budget Implementation Document of Regional Apparatus Work Unit 2022 can be carried out today," Lukas said in remarks, as quoted by Papua Governor's Spokesman M. Rifai Darus, to the press, after the Budget Implementation Document submission.

According to Rifai, Governor Enembe ensured that he was still a representative and extension of the central government. Thus, whatever President Jokowi ordered, will be immediately followed up by him and the ranks.

"Because in 2022, this is a transition period in the implementation of new regulations that must be adjusted by the Papua Provincial Government. Many authorities have changed, so it must be followed by the Papua Provincial Government, especially in the framework of the implementation of Special Autonomy Law No. 2021, which has been implemented in PP no. 109 and 107," he said.

While related to the use of the 2022 budget by Regional Apparatus Work Unit, the former Regent of Puncak Jaya reminded the heads of agencies, agencies and bureaus, to be able to use existing funds as well as possible.

As well as managing it in accordance with the designation and mandatory administrative order, so that there is no longer a wrong usage of finance, until it is processed by law.

"But there is a special affirmation given by the Governor as well, namely to the Papua Bureau of Auction of Goods and Services, so that in conducting the auction, it must be administrative orderly and in accordance with applicable regulations so that there is no delay in auctions and so on," he said.

Finally, added Rifai, Governor Lukas asked all parties, both the government and the public to be able to work together to maintain the predicate of Fair Without Exception (WTP) by the Regional Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) which has been achieved in recent years.

"Also included is an invitation from the Governor to all parties, because he will end in 2023, so let's build Papua. Because the future of Papua is still long and sustainable," he said. ***
