JAYAPURA - The Provincial Government of Papua also attended the annual meeting of the GCF (Governors Climate and Forest) Task Force or The Governor's Task Force for Forests and Climate Change in Manaus City, Amazonas State of Brazil, Wednesday (03/16/2022).
In the event, the Papua Provincial delegation brought non-timber forest products in the form of Noken and introduced them to the world community. Also honey, sago and wood oil.

Papua Province is one of the founders of the GCF Task Force with 9 states / provinces namely Acre, Amapa, Amazonas, Maranhao, Mato Grosso, Para (Brazil), California, Illinois (United States), Aceh and Papua (Indonesia) in 2009 - 2010.
