JAYAPURA - Daily Executor of the Regional Secretary of Papua, Derek Hegemur hopes that the implementation of the Development Planning Deliberation for the preparation of the Work Plan Local Government 2023, must be able to ensure the achievement of all targets in the Regional Medium Term Development Plan of Papua Provincial 2019-2023.

This aims to increase the acceleration of development in support of achieving the vision and mission of Papua Governor Lukas Enembe.

This was conveyed by Derek at the Development Planning Deliberation for the preparation of the Work Plan Local Government 2023 in Jayapura, Tuesday (19/4/2022).

He said, the preparation of the Work Plan Local Government 2023 is an important and very strategic momentum.

Moreover, 2023 is the beginning of the implementation of the Papua Development Acceleration Master Plan (RIPPP) as a reference document with all levels of Papua Province development.

"In 2023, it will be the beginning of the implementation of new regulations on the management of Special Autonomy funds. Provinces and regencies/ cities are both recipients of Special Autonomy funds and are the main source of development financing funds in Papua Province," he said.

Derek added that the Work Plan Local Government 2023 must synergize in supporting the achievement of national development targets and the success of the 2023 National Major Project in Papua Province.

So it is very necessary to collaborate innovation positive thinking in building integrated and synergistic development concepts and strategies.

It is known that the Development Planning Deliberation for the preparation of the Work Plan Local Government was attended by representatives of district and city governments throughout Papua. ***
