JAYAPURA - The Expert Staff of the Governor of Papua for Economics, Finance and Development Cyfrianus Yustus Mambay encouraged the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) of the Local Government Work Unit(SKPD) in his region to innovate information services.
By activating and developing the website of each SKPD, it will facilitate the provision of access to information for people in need.
"That way it can certainly facilitate access for people who need information by following the development of existing information technology," said Expert Staff Yustus Mambay, at the Coordination Meeting of Papua Provincial PPID, Tuesday (19/4/2022).
He said, in addition to innovating, PPID SKPD is also obliged to manage public information in accordance with applicable provisions. Good and professional performance is also obliged to create an authoritative, clean and transparent government (Good Governance).
"So that in this activity PPID SKPD also needs to equalize the perception of changes to various rules related to public information services," he said.
The activity, which was attended by all SKPD PPID in the Papua Provincial Government, was held for two days with a discussion on the management of information services on the first day (Tuesday, April 19, 2022) and sectoral statistics on the second day (April 20, 2022).
Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Department Jeri A. Yudianto hopes that through this activity, a strong commitment will be achieved throughout the SKPD PPID in the implementation and implementation of public information disclosure to public agencies in a consequential and responsible manner.
In addition, the availability of PPID service completeness, namely the existence of a service desk, DIDP determination and, a list of excluded information.
"Then, the functioning of the website to publish public information and documentation services, as well as the availability of PPID operational budget in the management and service of public information and the delivery of public information access reports".
"In order to realize harmonious synergy through collaboration in the provision of information and documentation services that are transparent, fast, accurate, simple and low cost," he concluded. ***
