PALEMBANG - The Papua Province contingent again added eight medals from Indonesian Kempo Federation (BKI) on the sixth day of the VI National Recreational Sports Festival (Fornas) Palembang, Wednesday (6/7/2022).

KORMI Papua General Secretary Samson Rumbiak said that medal donations still have a chance to be obtained, there are still around 20 sports numbers that will be competed today.

"Today (Wednesday-red) Kempo Federation (BKI) of Papua won 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals," explained Samson.

The Papuan contingent is still trying to win medals. The target is to complete a medal in the top 10 of the FORNAS Palembang.

"We are still trying to win medals through the activists who performed today and tomorrow (Thursday, ed). Of course, we need prayer support from the Papuan in order to achieve the best for Papua," he said.

As for Inorga Papua, which succeeded in donating medals at the VI FORNAS Palembang, PERBAFI 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals.

PORTINA 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals, then IOSKI 1 silver, KLPI 1 bronze, and ASIAFI 1 bronze medals.

Furthermore, POGTI 1 gold and 1 bronze. Persoci 1 gold and 1 bronze. BKI 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze. Then ILDI 1 bronze medals.

With this result, Papua is still on the 9th position in the standings while obtaining the medal at VI FORNAS Palembang. ***
