JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government officially launched an electronic signature (TTE) on the SIMDA Financial /FMIS and e-Office applications within the local government, Tuesday (12/7/2022).
Launched by Regional Secretary of Papua, Muhammad Ridwa Rumasukun, at Swissbel Hotel, Jayapura.
In his remarks, Ridwan, stated that the Papua Provincial Government is now ready to become a pilot local government for every other region throughout Indonesia, more specifically in the development of TTE towards an electronic-based government system.
"So that with the establishment of this electronic-based government system, it is hoped that it will have implications for faster service to the community. But also reliable and professional in order to realize a transparent and accountable government," explained Ridwan, on the sidelines of the signing of the SIMDA TTE.
Head of BPKP Representative for Papua Province, Tri Wibowo Aji appreciated the local government's initiative as the first province to implement TTE in financial applications
"Hopefully, the Papua Provincial Government can become a benchmark for other local governments throughout Indonesia and it is hoped that with the launching of this TTE, regional financial management in Papua Province will be more effective, efficient and accountable," he hoped.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Papua Communication and Information Department, Jeri Yudianto, said that TTE consists of electronic information used for verification and authentication tools.
He guarantees that TTE is very safe and cannot be duplicated by any party, because it is evaluated by the Papua Communication and Information Technology team periodically.
"In essence, the existence of TTE is expected to make government performance, through the use of information technology, better, faster, safer and more efficient," he concluded. ***
