JAYAPURA - The Communication and Informatics Department of Papua encourages governments in the district and city to start implementing Electronic Signatures (TTE) for administrative, document and financial matters.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Communication and Informatics Department of Papua, Jeri A. Yudianto, in Jayapura, Tuesday (12/7/2022).
"It is time for the district government to implement the electronic certification. This is also to respond to the development of the current era which is increasingly advanced in the field of information technology," he explained.
According to Jeri, the Papua Provincial Government is currently very enthusiastic and continues to strive to develop TTE applications in all regional apparatus organizations (OPD), in order to achieve an electronic-based government system.
Until now, the Papua Provincial Government has successfully applied TTE to staffing documents and financial applications in related regional apparatus organizations.
In addition, continued Jeri, the Papua Provincial Government also implements e-Office to help convey data and information as well as communication activities to agencies, both in one office environment, between offices, to relationships with external parties.
"That is, including incoming and outgoing letters. It is hoped that all these documents will be used electronically, so that they are better documented," he said.
It is known that the current application of TTE is claimed to have many benefits, including having legal force equivalent to wet signatures, and can cut the time for obtaining signed documents and guaranteed personal identity security. ***
