JAYAPURA - The Papua Pavilion at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Jakarta, is confirmed to be equipped with a Videotron or panel screen with LED light technology that displays videos, images, charts, diagrams or content related to Papua.
The existence of multimedia is expected to be a means of conveying information to visitors and G20 participants.
"For TMII Jakarta, we prepared a Videotron to be used by visitors in the Papua Pavilion at TMII Jakarta. It is hoped that the Videotron can be used well by the TMII visitor community, G20 participants and the local government," explained the Head of the Communication and Informatics Department of Papua, Jeri A. Yudianto, in Jayapura, Tuesday (13/9/2022).
In addition to TMII, Jeri said, it has built two Videotron in Sarmi Regency and Yapen Islands. With the completion of the construction of Videotron in the two districts, the total multimedia technology built by the Papua Communication and Information Department before the implementation of PON XX, has been as many as 10 units.
It is located in Jayapura City, Jayapura Regency, Nabire, Biak, Merauke, Jayawijaya, Mimika and the Papua Liaison Office in Jakarta at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
Meanwhile, in addition to the construction of Videotron, the Papua Communication and Information Department, continued Jeri, has provided CCTV access in crowded locations such as in Sarmi, Biak, Serui and Nabire
"Even for the Yapen Islands district itself, there are already around 15 CCTVs," he said.
As for the operation of the CCTV, it is managed by the district government in collaboration with the local transportation agency.
"The point is that the district Communication and Information Department coordinates with the Transportation agency, because the area does not have CCTV yet at every traffic light".
"The purpose of installing CCTV is to make it easier to monitor existing conditions and be used for other interests in the future. And the sophisticated CCTV is accessed through the Papua Provincial Government and can be accessed through Smartphones, especially for officials and technical Regional Working Unit in the regions," he said. ***
