JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government released that the budget absorption figure until early December 2022 is still at 75 percent. In this regard, Papua Regional Secretary Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun is optimistic that the absorption target of up to 95 percent will be achieved.
However, Ridwan encouraged all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) to work hardly, including sectorial coordination with the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN), so that the absorption of spending, which has only reached 75 percent, can reach 95 percent by the end of the year.
"I urge all Regional Apparatus Organizations to work hard. Coordinate with KPPN, so that with the remaining time of the month, it can reach 95 percent related to the absorption of the budget, Ridwan explained in Jayapura, Tuesday.
Head of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of Papua Province, Burhani said that towards the end of this year, the progress of absorption of work unit spending by ministries/institutions within the Papua Province until the end of November 2022 has only reached 75 percent.
Meanwhile, the distribution of Transfers to Regions and Village Funds (TKDD) has reached 93.81 percent. Therefore, OPD is encouraged to optimize budget absorption properly.
His party also welcomed the instructions of the Papua Regional Secretary to all OPD to actively coordinate with the KPPN. Thus, his party is ready to push so that the budget absorption target can be carried out as it should be. ***
