JAKARTA - For the first time since 2014 Papua was named an informative province in 2022. This achievement is in line with the results of the monitoring and evaluation of Information Disclosure (MONEV-KI) 2022, in Jakarta, recently.
The Head of the Papua Communication and Information Service, Jeri Agus Yudinato, S.Kom, emphasized that this achievement was achieved from a long journey in an effort to improve the performance of information and documentation management in the Papua Provincial Government.
On the other hand, due to the strong commitment of the Regional Leadership, namely the Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe, SIP, MH in encouraging the officials under him to manage information and documentation openly and transparently in accordance with existing regulations.
"Starting from the Regional Secretary as the superior of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID), then the Main PPID which is currently ex-officio held by the Head of the Communication and Information Service, then the superior of the Implementing PPID (the Heads of Working Unit of local Government), all must be open in public services," he explained, in a release received by the press, Wednesday (12/14/2022).
Meanwhile, in MONEV-KI 2022, he continued, there was a surge in participation, where 372 Public Agencies participated from all over Indonesia.
Consists of Ministries/Institutions, SOEs, State Higher Education, Provincial Governments and Political Parties.
"While the assessment results include, Less Informative, Quite Informative, Towards Informative and Informative," he said.
It is known that MONEV-KI 2022 takes the theme of Digitizing Information Disclosure of Public Agencies in the Covid-19 Recovery Period.
Meanwhile, the assessment aspects include continuous Information Service Innovation including Innovation Renewal, Use of Technology and Information, Benefit of Innovation, Uniqueness and Accessibility and Strategy of public agencies in implementing information disclosure.
The assessment is also clarified by the Assessment Team consisting of the Central Information Commissioner, Academics, Practitioners or Community Organizations who have competence in the field of Information disclosure.
The success of 2022 is a trigger for enthusiasm for the province of Papua to maintain and improve its performance in managing Information Disclosure within the scope of Government so that the Public / Community can be well served and the Government performance is more transparent in accordance with applicable regulations.
The 2022 award was attended by the Minister of POLHUKAM RI, a number of Governors, Echelon I Officials at the Ministry level, Rectors, Leadersof State-owned Enterprises, Political Party Leaders and for the Governor of Papua represented by the Head of the Papua Communication and Information Service. ***
