Jayapura - The Papua Information Commission (KI) officially submitted a report on the results of Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activities and the Ranking of Information Disclosure of Public Ae throughout Papua Province last year 2022.
The document was received by the Daily Executive (Plh) of the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Papua Province, Derek Hegemur, Thursday (30/3/2023), in the meeting room of the temporary office of the Governor of Papua, Angkasa, Jayapura City, Papua.
The handover was witnessed by the Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Papua Province, Yohanes Walilo and the Head of the General and Protocol Bureau of Papua Province, Elpius Hugi.
Meanwhile, the Papua Provincial Information Commission (KI Papua) was represented by the Chairman of the Papua KI Wilhelmus Pigai, Deputy Chairman of the Papua KI Andriani Waly, Papua IP Member Joel Betuel Agaki Wanda and Papua IP Member Syamsuddin Levi.
Head of the Socialization and Education Division of KI Papua, Joel Betuel Agaki Wanda in his statement said that the submission of documents was also to implement the orders of Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Openness (UU KIP).
"This law mandates that we are directly responsible to the governor to provide reports on the results of monitoring and evaluation and our activities to the governor and the Papuan Parliament", he explained.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Papua IC, Wilhelmus Pigai, stated that in addition to providing reports on the results of monitoring and evaluation to public agencies to the Papua Regional Secretary PLH, the Papua IP team also provided a report on the results of work during 2022.
"Including discussing the condition and situation of public service management in KI Papua, which still exists and is ready to serve the community in public information dispute resolution services," he said. ***
