JAYAPURA - Acting Assistant for Economic Affairs and People Welfare of Papua Suzana Wanggai, Wednesday (10/5/2023) morning, went down directly to check services at Abepura Hospital, after the burning of the hospital's emergency room, Tuesday afternoon.
Her arrival also ensures that no patients are displaced or do not get health services. "The condition of the room seems to have been affected by the fire. We also appreciate that health services continue to run."
"Thank you to the ranks of Abepura Hospital who continue to carry out their duties in the context of service to patients," explained Suzana, when stating to the press, after the visit.
About the number of losses due to the fire, Suzana said that she was still conducting an inventory, which would also prepare various needs to be prepared at the hospital.
"For example, basic needs such as water, electricity, food and others need to be prepared. Including how to be safe and service for patients," she explained.
Suzana added, currently services at Abepura Hospital are still running normally. The patient's family is urged not to worry. "What is certain is that the provincial government expresses condolences for the fire incident that occurred at Abepura Hospital. And we respond immediately to make repairs, " she said.
