"Through this opportunity, I invite all government officials, religious leaders, community leaders, intellectuals, professionals, the young generation of Indonesia and all Indonesian people to unite and move actively to strengthen the values of Pancasila," said Ridwan.
According to the Governor, the commemoration of Pancasila Day every June 1, we must really use it by strengthening the values of Pancasila in the life of society, nation, and state.
Although Pancasila has been integrated in our lives as long as the Republic of Indonesia was established, the challenges faced by Pancasila are not getting lighter. Globalization and interaction between parts of the world do not necessarily increase equality and togetherness.
For this reason, he continued, what we must be aware of, for now, is the increasing rivalry and competition between views and ideologies.
"Therefore, we must present the noble values of Pancasila in real life in today's modern world. For this reason, I constantly invite all government officials in Papua Province to continue to improve our services to the community," he said,
It is known, the flag ceremony commemorating Pancasila Day by the Papua Provincial Government took place at 08.00 Eastern Indonesian Time. Acting Assistant Secretary of Papua for Economic Affairs and People's Welfare, Suzana Wanggai acted as Inspector of Ceremonies.
This activity was not only attended by the Head of the Regional Apparatus Organization within the Papua Provincial Government and the ranks but also attended by the local National Armed and Police Force.
