JAYAPURA - The Papua Regional Revenue Management Agency (Bapenda) stated that there is a potential for regional retribution that will be charged to visitors to the Papua Pavilion at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta.
This was revealed after Bapenda Papua and the Papua Regional Liaison Agency Office in Jakarta, completed the identification of potential for regional retribution at the Papua pavilion, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Wednesday (14/6/2023).
Head of Bapenda, Setiyo Wahyudi told reporters that he had directly led the identification accompanied by Bapenda Head of Retribution Steven Soor. The process was also witnessed by the Head of the Regional Liaison Agency, Alexander Kapisa.
"Yesterday, the Head of the Liaison Agency Alexander Kapisa wrote to us in Bapenda to identify the potential for retribution on the Papua Pavilion at TMII."
"Seeing the increasing level of visits to the Papua Pavilion, so that after we revitalized it a few months ago, it is necessary to identify the potential objects of retribution on this Papua pavilion," Setyo said.
According to him, the identification process has been completed and there will be a joint formulation of the retribution value imposed on visitors.
Head of the Retribution Division of Bapenda Papua, Steven Soor, appreciated the efforts and innovations that have been made by the Head of the Papua Liaison Agency in Jakarta with staff, so as to attract visits to the TMII Papua Pavilion in Jakarta.
Thus, this visit then has implications for the potential of regional retribution with the increasing number of visits to the Papua Pavilion.
Thus, it is expected that in the near future, there will be an entrance tariff for visiting the pavilion. ***
