Gubernur Minta Masyarakat Disiplin Jalankan Prokes Jelang PON

Gubernur Papua Lukas Enembe meminta masyarakat Bumi Cenderawasih untuk disiplin menjalankan protokol kesehatan (prokes) yang diterapkan pemerintah.

Hal demikian agar penularan COVID-19 dapat ditekan jelang pelaksanaan Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XX 2021, yang tinggal menghitung hari.

“Gubernur berpesan agar semua fokus menjaga prokes COVID-19 secara baik. Sehingga kita bisa menyaksikan semua pertandingan olahraga di PON nanti, dihadiri penonton”.

“Nah maka itu, prokes ini sangat penting untuk dijalankan. Lebih khusus bagi masyarakat yang tinggal di empat klaster penyelenggara PON,” ujar  Gubernur Lukas Enembe lewat Juru Bicara-nya, Muhammad Rifai Darus, saat memberikan keterangan kepada pers, Kamis (19/8/2021).

Gubernur, masih menurut Rifai Darus, juga telah meminta instansi terkait untuk mempercepat pelaksanaan vaksinasi, lebih khusus di empat klaster penyelenggaraan PON.

Hal demikian, agar upaya menekan penularan COVID-19 sebelum pelaksanaan event PON dan Peparnas, bisa berjalan maksimal.

“Dimana ada sekitar 600 ribu orang di empat klaster penyelenggaraan PON yang menjadi target untuk di vaksinasi”.

“Tentunya, kita juga minta peran serta masyarakat agar dapat dengan sukarela melakukan vaksinasi guna mencapai herd imunity sebagaimana yang diharapkan pemerintah,” pungkasnya.

Papua Governor Lukas Enembe asked the people of Papua to be disciplined in carrying out health protocols implemented by the government.

This is so that the transmission of COVID-19 can be suppressed ahead of the implementation of the National Sports Week XX 2021, which is just counting the days.

"The Governor advised that all focus on maintaining the COVID-19 program properly so that we can watch all sports matches in National Sports Week, attended by spectators".

"Well then, this health protocol is very important to run. More specifically for people who live in four organizing clusters," said Governor Lukas Enembe through his Spokesman, Muhammad Rifai Darus, when giving a statement to the press on Thursday (08/19/2021).

The governor, still according to Rifai Darus, has also asked the relevant agencies to speed up the implementation of vaccinations, more specifically in the four implementation clusters of National Sports Week. This effort is to suppress COVID-19 transmission before the implementation of National Sports Week and National Paralympic Week events, can run optimally.

"Where there are about 600 thousand people in four implementation clusters who are targeted for vaccination"

"Of course, we also ask for community participation so that they can voluntarily carry out vaccinations in order to achieve herd immunity as expected by the government," he concluded.
