Sekda : Keberadaan GMKI Penting untuk Pengendalian Dinamika Sosial Poitik Daerah

JAYAPURA - Konsultasi Nasional (Konas) Gerakan Mahasiswa Kristen Indonesia (GMKI) 2022, resmi dibuka Sekda Papua Ridwan Rumasukun, di Jayapura, Rabu (24/8/2022) malam.

Pelaksanaan Konas GMKI diharapkan memberi kontribusi positif serta pemikiran strategis untuk pembangunan diatas Bumi Cenderawasih.

"Termasuk berkontribusi aktif untuk pengendalian dinamika sosial dan politik di tanah Papua," terang Sekda Ridwan, saat menyampaikan sambutan, disela-sela acara tersebut.

Sekda pada kesempatan itu turut menyambut baik dan menilai tepat pelaksanaan Konas GMKI, yang dipusatkan di Kota Jayapura, ibukota, Provinsi Papua.

"Putusan GMKI Pusat melaksanakan Konas di Kota Jayapura, Papua adalah langkah yang sangat tepat. Apalagi saat ini Pemerintah Papua fokus terhadap pembangunan, sehingga diperlukan pemikiran yang turut membangun," jelas ia.

Senada disampaikan Penjabat Wali Kota Jayapura Frans Pekey, yang turut mengapresiasi pelaksanaan pelaksanaan Konas GMKI di wilayah Port Numbay.

"Kami menyambut dengan suka cita atas kehadiran seluruh peserta Konas GMKI Tahun 2022. Kota Jayapura terbuka untuk siapa saja dan kami siap menjadi tuan rumah yang baik”.

“Sebab semua suku bangsa ada di Kota Jayapura, Semua agama ada di Kota Jayapura, semua kalangan ada  Kota Jayapura. Oleh sebab itu menurutnya Kota Jayapura adalah kota yang aman dan beriman. Terima kasih kepada GMKI Pusat yang telah memilih Kota Jayapura, selamat melaksanakan Konas GMKI," tegasnya.

Ketua Panitia Konsultasi GMKI Tahun 2022, Benyamin Arisoy mengapresiasi dukungan pemerintah daerah terkait yang turut menyukseskan pelaksanaan konsultasi tingkat nasional tersebut.

Dimana kegiatan yang dihadiri 326 peserta dari seluruh Indonesia itu, akan membahas studi dan bisnis meeting yang berfokus pada kondisi internal organsasi GMKI.

“Termasuk membahas segala persoalan kekinian secara nasional dan Papua dengan menghadirkan narasumber dari pusat," kata dia.

Diketahui, kegiatan Konas GMKI 2022, dibuka dengan berbagai atraksi tari-tarian asal Papua serta penampilan berbagai paduan suara gerejawi. Sementara ibadah pembuka dipimpin oleh Pdt. Siantje Latuputy. ***

JAYAPURA - The National Consultation of the Indonesian Christian Student Movement (GMKI) 2022, officially opened by the regional secretary of Papua, Ridwan Rumasukun, in Jayapura, Wednesday (24/8/2022) night.

The implementation of GMKI National Consultation is expected to make a positive contribution and strategic thinking for development in Papua.

"This includes actively contributing to the control of social and political dynamics in the land of Papua," explained Ridwan, when delivering his remarks.

The Regional Secretary on the occasion also welcomed and assessed the appropriate implementation of the GMKI National Consultation, which was centered in Jayapura City, the capital, Papua Province.

"The decision of the Central GMKI to implement National Consultation in Jayapura City is a very appropriate step. Moreover, currently the Government of Papua is focusing on development, so it requires thinking that contributes to building," he explained.

The same was conveyed by the Acting Mayor of Jayapura Frans Pekey, who also appreciated the implementation of the GMKI National Consultation in the Port Numbay area.

"We welcome with joy the presence of all participants of the GMKI National Consultation 2022. Jayapura city is open to anyone and we are ready to be a good host".

"Because all ethnic groups and religions are in Jayapura City and all circles are in Jayapura City. Therefore, according to him, Jayapura City is a safe and faithful city. Thank you to the Central GMKI for choosing Jayapura City, congratulations on implementing the GMKI National Consultation," he said.

Chairman of the GMKI Consultation Committee in 2022, Benyamin Arisoy appreciated the support of relevant local governments who contributed to the success of the implementation of the national-level consultation.

The activity was attended by 326 participants from all over Indonesia, and will discuss studies and business meetings that focus on the internal conditions of GMKI organizations.

"This includes discussing all current issues nationally and in Papua by presenting speakers from the center," he said.

It is known that the GMKI National Consultation 2022 was opened with various dance attractions from Papua as well as the performance of various ecclesiastical choirs. Meanwhile, the opening service was led by Rev. Siantje Latuputy. ***
