Tunggakan Beasiswa Otsus Dituntaskan Sebelum Hut Kemerdekaan RI Special Autonomy Scholarship Arrears Settled Before Indonesian Independence Day
Pelaksana Harian (Plh) Gubernur Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun memastikan tunggakan beasiswa Otsus 2023, bakal dituntaskan sebelum HUT Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia. The Daily Executive of Papua Governor Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun ensures that the arrears of the 2023 Special Autonomy scholarship will be settled before the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
JAYAPURA - Pelaksana Harian (Plh) Gubernur Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun memastikan tunggakan beasiswa Otsus 2023, bakal dituntaskan sebelum HUT Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia.
Tunggakan sebesar Rp300 miliar tersebut, akan dibayarkan dari Sisa Lebih Perhitungan Anggaran (SiLPA) Otsus, yang saat ini tengah diajukan dari Pemprov Papua kepada Pemerintah Pusat.
"Untuk tunggakan beasiswa Otonomi Khusus (Otsus) Papua periode 2023 kita upayakan tuntas sebelum 14 Agustus 2023."
"Pemprov Papua sudah mengajukan permohonan ke Kementerian Dalam Negeri dan Kementerian Keuangan untuk diambil dari Sisa Lebih Perhitungan Anggaran (SiLPA) Otsus," jelas Ridwan di Jayapura.
Disamping menggunakan dana SiLPA Otsus, lanjut dia, beberapa kabupaten dan kota di Papua siap turut membayar dari pagu anggaran mereka. Diantarnya Pemerintah Kota Jayapura yang menyanggupi anggarkan senilai Rp9 miliar.
"Sehingga kami berterima kasih, dengan begitu bisa mengurangi beban Pemerintah Provinsi Papua dalam menyelesaikan pembayaran beasiswa Otsus ini," ujar ia.
Menyoal tunggakan beasiswa periode 2022 sebesar Rp122 miliar, Ridwan menyampaikan jika semua sudah selesai dibayarkan. Dengan demikian, Pemperintah Provinsi Papua hanya punya kewajiban untuk selesaikan sekitar hampir Rp300 miliar.
"Untuk yang Rp 122 M sudah kami selesaikan, namun masih ada Rp 300 M yang harus dibayarkan sebelum 14 Agustus 2023," tandasnya. ***

The arrears of IDR 300 billion will be paid from the Remaining Over Special Autonomy Budget Calculation (SiLPA), which is currently being submitted from the Papua Provincial Government to the Central Government.
"For the Papua Special Autonomy Scholarship for the 2023 period, we are trying to complete it before August 14, 2023."
"The Papua provincial government has submitted an application to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Finance to take from the Remaining Over Special Autonomy Budget Calculation (SiLPA)," Ridwan told reporters in Jayapura.
In addition to using SiLPA Special Autonomy funds, he continued, several regencies and cities in Papua are ready to pay from their budget ceilings. Among them is the Jayapura City Government which agreed to budget IDR 9 billion.
"So, we are grateful, we can reduce the burden on the Papua Provincial Government in completing the payment of this special autonomy scholarship," he said.
About the scholarship arrears for the 2022 period of IDR 122 billion, Ridwan said it had been paid. Thus, the Papua Provincial Government only has the obligation to settle around IDR 300 billion.
"We have completed IDR 122 billion, but there is still IDR 300 billion to be paid before August 14, 2023," he said. ***
