UMP Papua 2025 Disepakati Naik 6,5 Persen

JAYAPURA - Nilai Upah Minimum Provinsi (UMP) Papua tahun 2025 telah disepakati naik 6,5 persen. 

Kesepakatan itu antara Pemprov Papua dengan dewan pengupahan di wilayah setempat dan akan segera ditetapkan serta diumumkan oleh Gubernur Papua. 

"Hasil perhitungan UMP Papua sudah diterima dan sudah ditetapkan menjadi hasil sidang Dewan Pengupahan Provinsi Papua pada tanggal 6 Desember 2024," terang Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja, Koperasi, Usaha Kecil dan Menengah Provinsi Papua Robert Eddy Purwoko di Jayapura, Selasa (10/12/2024).

Dijelaskan, dengan kenaikan sebesar 6,5 persen tahun 2025, maka UMP Papua yang sebelumnya Rp 4.024.270 naik menjadi Rp 4.285,850. Dimana secara persentase jika dirupiahkan kenaikannya sebesar 261.578.

Sementara untuk upah minimun sektoral di Papua 2025 sebesar Rp 4.307.280 atau kenaikan sebesar Rp21.429 (0,5 persen).

Eddy menambahkan, kenaikan UMP Papua 2025 nantinya akan diumumkan secara resmi oleh Pj Gubernur Papua, Ramses Limbong.

Kenaikan UMP mulai berlaku pada 1 Januari 2025 di seluruh kabupaten/kota se-Papua.

Sebelumnya, Menteri Tenaga Kerja, Yassierli, telah menerbitkan Peraturan Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Nomor 16/2024 tentang Pengupahan. 

Permenaker tersebut menyatakan bahwa UMP dan Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK) 2025 naik sebesar 6,5 persen dan akan berlaku mulai 1 Januari 2025. ***

JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) value has been agreed to increase by 6.5 percent in 2025.

The agreement is between the Papua Provincial Government and the wage council in the local area and will soon be determined and announced by the Governor of Papua.

"The results of the calculation of the Papua Provincial Minimum Wage have been received and determined on December 6, 2024," explained the Head of the Papua Provincial Manpower Office, Robert Eddy Purwoko, in Jayapura, Tuesday (10/12/2024).

He explained that with an increase of 6.5 percent in 2025, the Provincial Minimum Wage which was previously IDR 4,024,270 increased to IDR 4,285,850 with an increase of IDR 261,578.

Meanwhile, the sectoral minimum wage in Papua in 2025 is IDR 4,307,280 or an increase of IDR 21,429 (0.5 percent).

Eddy added that the 2025 Papua Provincial Minimum Wage increase will be officially announced by the Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong.

The Provincial Minimum Wage Increase will take effect on January 1, 2025 for all districts/cities throughout Papua.

Previously, the Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, had issued a Regulation of the Minister of Manpower Number 16/2024 concerning Wages.

It states that the Provincial Minimum Wage and Regency/City Minimum Wage will increase by 6.5 percent and take effect from January 1, 2025. ***
