JAYAPURA - The Grand Committee of the National Sports Week (PB PON) XX Papua, Saturday afternoon (09/18/2021), held a simulation of the arrival of the PON Contingent at Theys Eluay Airport and the parking lot of Barnabas Youwe Stadium (SBY).
The simulation was led directly by the Chairman of the Supervisory and Steering Committee of National Sports Week XX Major General (Purn) Dr. Suwarno accompanied by the General Secretary of National Sports Week Committee, Drs.Elia Loupatty, MM with two scenarios, namely the arrival of contingents using regular flight and special or charters flight.
For regular or charter flight, the contingent gets off the plane and enters the arrival terminal then they will go through a fast track or special line to get out and directly board the bus. Next they will go to the transit area at SBY stadium with Patrol and Escort Police.
Upon arrival at SBY stadium, the contingent will be greeted with dances and souvenirs. They then followed several health care procedures including electronic-health alert card (eHAC) and antigen test.
Then get the participant registration service in the form of ID card activation, consumption service and accommodation services (room sharing and baggage arrangements) and then leave the SBY stadium.
Chairman of the Supervisory and Steering Committee of National Sports Week XX Major General National Armed Force (Purn) Dr. Suwarno explained that later the contingent arriving at the airport will use a special line in front of the arrival room stairs. The luggage will be organized of by the committee.
"They will be transited and welcomed in the parking area of Barnabas Youwe Stadium. Activities at the welcoming place, in addition to the display of typical Papuan art, are carried out for the eHac test, ID card activation. They will go back to the accommodation by bus based on their respective sports," Suwarno explained.
"Later participants who arrive at the Barnabas Youwe Stadium will go to the eHac validation tent. After that they will activate the ID Card through face recognition technology," he added.
Suwarno confirmed that upon arrival at the venue, all participants will be allowed to be there and the venue of the match. They should not go anywhere to avoid potential exposure to Covid-19.
