JAYAPURA – Head of the Papua Provincial Education, Library and Archives Office, Protasius Lobia, said that his party followed district and city policies related to the plan to re-enact the online learning system, responding to the increase in COVID-19 cases as of February 1, 2022.
There are 110 active cases of COVID-19 in Jayapura City who are hospitalized.

According to him, the Face-to-Face Learning system in schools is currently running well. Nevertheless, the school is encouraged to remain vigilant and maximize the implementation of strict health protocols.
Meanwhile, if the school is going to start an online learning system, then teachers are asked to pay attention to the devices that must be prepared. So the learning process can be carried out properly.
Protasius requested the support and cooperation of PLN and Telkom to be able to provide extra services as long as the online learning system is established.
"Because if there is a disruption, the online learning process will be hampered.
And indeed, the management of education is a matter of many sectors. They need the support of the relevant parties. These two years Covid-19 has been a lesson," he explained.
He on that occasion advised parents, so that during the implementation of online learning, can maximally supervise the association. "The point is for children to stay away from crowds. Because do not let us limit the crowd at school, but instead children hang out in the mall, on the beach and others."
