JAYAPURA - Papua Governor Lukas Enembe hopes that the existence of the Papua Financial and Development Supervision Agency (BPKP) can foster the implementation of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) intensively and accountable by responding to input from various parties.
"BPKP acts as an auditor and is tasked with fostering and supervising the local government in organizing a reliable SPIP. The goal is the development agenda contained in the RPJMN / RPJMD and RKP / RKPD can be achieved," said Enembe, at the inaugural event of the new Head of BPKP Papua Representative, Tri Wibowo Aji, Thursday (17/2/2022), in Jayapura.
According to Enembe, so far BPKP Papua representatives have established good cooperation with the Provincial Government of Papua and all district / city governments in Papua Province, in an effort to build and develop local government management.
Thus, BPKP Papua Representatives have become control experts who can assist government agencies in the process of implementing internal control systems and overseeing internal control process improvements.
While with regard to the change of leadership in an organization, Enembe said, it must be addressed wisely with the hope in the future that the change will provide the best the progress of the BPKP organization.
"Therefore on this occasion we congratulate the new BPKP Representative Head, hopefully can continue and even further increase the success that has been achieved by BPKP Papua representatives so far".
