JAYAPURA - The Papua Regional Education, Library and Archives Office released a quota of Higher Education Affirmations (ADIK) and Secondary Education Affirmations (ADEM) 2022 program of 850 people.
Divided into the ADIK program of 500 people and ADEM 350 people.
Acting Head of the Papua Regional Education, Library and Archives Office, Protasius Lobya hopes that the opportunity can be utilized properly.
"Because most Papuan children who pass the ADIK program have worked in ministries or SOEs," he explained in Jayapura on Thursday.
As for the selection process, he continued, the selection will be done based on the ability of the students. "It means that there is no selection that our students cannot participate in, then be made as if they can, (pass).
"Moreover, on average they want a medical test, so those who pass must be competent based on their ability," he said.
He added, the largest recruitment program will be carried out in the district, but the average in the region has not been met this year.
"The ADEM and ADIK program is a national program that provides a very extraordinary opportunity for indigenous Papuans to get quality school and college further education services."
"For that, let's make good use of it, especially in districts where quotas are difficult to meet," he concluded. ***
