JAYAPURA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) from today Monday (14/3/2022) to Tuesday (15/3/2022) will go camping at the kilometer zero point of the State Capital in Sepaku, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

In a series of activities attended by the governors of 24 provinces, the Papua Provincial Government had the opportunity to plant Soang trees that grow a lot in Papua.

The planting was carried out by Assistant General Secretary of Papua Derek Hagemur representing the Governor of Enembe.

"We hope this Matoa tree can grow in IKN Nusantara with the same character as in Papua," said Head of Communication and Informatics Department of Papua Province Jery Yudianto quoted Assistant Derek, in a release received by the editor, Monday (03/14/2022).

Previously, from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube live broadcast on Monday morning, the unification procession began at about 09:45 Central Indonesian Time or 08.45 Western Indonesia Time.

The procession begins with the pouring of land and water brought by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan into a large gold brown container called “Kendi Nusantara”.

After the handover from Anies continued 33 other regional heads who handed over land and water from their respective regions. ***
