JAYAPURA - The Coordination Meeting of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) of the Local Government Work Unit (SKPD) of the Papua Provincial Government held from 19 to 20 April 2022 resulted in 10 recommendations for an agreement to be used as a guideline in supporting public information disclosure.
The ten recommendations of this agreement were signed by all SKPD PPID which will be reported to the Papua Regional Secretary to then be encouraged by reference for PPID SKPD in providing public information disclosure services.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Communication and Informatics Department of Papua Province Jery Yudianto, Wednesday afternoon, in Jayapura.
Jeri explained several recommendation agreements resulting from the meeting, including making Governor Regulation number 32 of 2021, concerning guidelines for managing information and documentation in the Provincial Government as the direction of implementing services for PPID.
It's just that, in order for the Governor Regulation to be a joint guide, the same understanding and mindset are needed between all PPID SKPD including the implementation procedure.
"Then there is also an official policy formulation recommendation to include information and documentation service managers into the Main Performance Indicators (IKU)".
"In essence, all information and documentation in a public agency is managed by PPID by carrying out all management functions (POAC)," he said.
While no less important in the agreement, Jeri added, the Papua Provincial Government's Main PPID will encourage assessments for information and documentation service managers as an effort to improve the quality of information and documentation service management through technical training. ***
