JAYAPURA - The progress of the construction of the new building of the Papua Provincial Governor's Office to date, is reported to have reached above 45 percent.
Papua Governor Lukas Enembe is also optimistic that the project, which is funded by the provincial government budget will be completed on time and will be inaugurated on December 27, 2022.
"Praise be to God during the construction process of the governor's office building, there are no obstacles whatsoever. We ask for the prayer support of all parties and the community so that the construction can be completed according to the target," explained Lukas after directly monitoring the progress of the construction of the Papua Governor's office building in Dok II Jayapura, Tuesday (7/6/2022) afternoon.
In addition to the Papua Governor's office, there are also three office buildings under construction, namely the Papuan People's Assembly (MRP) Office, the Papuan General Selection Commission (KPU) Office and the Papua Procurement Service Unit (ULP) Office.
The construction of the three new buildings is also expected to be completed in December 2022 and is planned to be inaugurated on December 27, which is also the anniversary of the Papua Provincial Government.
"The construction of all buildings in Jayapura City will make the city of Port Numbay the most modern city in the Pacific region".
The Head of the Papua Provincial PUPR Office, Girius Yoman, ensured that the progress of the construction of the Papua Governor's Office has now reached more than 45 percent, while the MRP office has reached 30 percent.
