NABIRE - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, John Wempi Wetipo invited all parties to support the expansion of Central Papua.

The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs had a face-to-face meeting with the regent and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum along with community leaders, religious leaders, and traditional leaders throughout the Central Papua region at the Nabire Guest House, Monday (25/7/2022), as released by the editor.
The meeting was attended by Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia Komarudin Watubun, Assistant I for Government Affairs of the Papua Regional Secretary Doren Wakerkwa and Assistant II for the Economy and People's Affairs of the Papua Regional Secretary Muhammad Musa'ad together with the head of the relevant of Regional Apparatus Organization in the Papua Provincial Government.
After the meeting, the Deputy Minister and his entourage reviewed the 75-hectare property belonging to Suki Wate.
"I want to invite those who are resistant and pessimistic, let's join and unite, it is time for us to unite to build the welfare of the Papuan people," he said.
Wetipo revealed that this expansion aims at social justice for all Indonesians, especially those in Papua.
"To realize this, it is the responsibility of the regent to embrace the community in building this province well," he explained.
In addition, all parties are tasked with convincing the government that the state provides an opportunity for the Papuan people to build their own people.
"Because the three DOB will be pilot projects in development, so this is a privilege for Papuans," he said.
On this occasion, a statement of loan and grant of funds was signed, ASN by the regents of Mepagoo to the central government, as well as the habilitation of customary land rights, the handover of the assets of the Governor of Central Papua, the house of office and regional secretary of Papua as well as supporting offices.
Central Papua Province covers 8 districts, namely Nabire, Paniai, Mimika, Puncak Jaya, Puncak, Dogiyai, Intan Jaya and Deiyai. ***
