JAYAPURA - Acting Assistant for General Affairs of the Papua Regional Office, Derek Hegemur ensures that he continues to strive to strengthen clean, effective, democratic and trusted governance to all Civil Servants Apparatus within the provincial government.
These efforts include the implementation of the Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI) 2022, Thursday (25/8/2022), in Jayapura.
"Through the presentation of the SPI results, it is hoped that it will make the easternmost region in Indonesia, free from corruption, especially in Papua," explained Derek.
He explained that the Papua Provincial Government has continued to make efforts to prevent corruption, through the assistance of the KPK since 2016, starting from the fields of planning and budgeting, procurement of goods and services, licensing, strengthening APIP, Civil Servants Apparatus management, revenue management and asset management.
Meanwhile, the implementation of SPI is a survey to map the risks and progress of corruption prevention efforts carried out by ministries or institutions and local governments.
“The SPI Respondents consists of internal, namely employees in the institution, external, namely the public recipients of services and experts"
"So by participating in this integrity assessment survey, it means that it has helped the government to make a corruption prevention map so that the government can swiftly improve its governance," he explained.
He added that since a few years ago, the KPK Prevention and Monitoring Division has assisted and guided the implementation of SPI in the Papua Provincial Government.
"By strengthening governance, it is one of the priorities for regional development of Papua Province in realizing the vision of a Just Rising, Independent and Prosperous Papua," Derek concluded. ***
