JAYAPURA - The Central Government officially today, Friday (11/11/2022) inaugurated three New Autonomous Regions (DOB) in Cenderawasih Earth along with its Acting Governor. These three new provinces, namely South Papua, Central Papua and Mountain Papua.

In this regard, the Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) of Papua Province, Marthen Kogoya, ensured that he would place competitive and qualified State Civil Apparatus to support the wheels of government in the three New Autonomous Regions.

"So, in the new province, the State Civil Apparatus from the main province can immediately work and run the government," Marthen explained in Jayapura, to reporters, this afternoon.

In addition, Marten ensured that Papua Province, as the representative of the central government, would provide guidance to all human resources in the three new provinces.

"With the hope that in 2024, after the formation of a definitive government, the wheels of government and society can run as expected," he said.

While questioning the appointment of the Secretary of State in the three New Autonomous Regions, according to Marthen, this is the authority of the central government. But the appointed party should have competence and qualifications as well as qualified bureaucratic capabilities.

"As well as being able to assist the appointed acting governor, to further prepare for the implementation of the Regional Elections to form a definitive government and will run the wheels of government and community, for the main purpose of prospering the community," he said. ***
