JAYAPURA - Head of the Papua Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) Yohanis Walilo ensured that the shift of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) from the main province to three new autonomous regions (DOB), namely South Papua, Central Papua and Highland Papua, is still temporarily coordinated with the central government.
According to the provisions, the shift of State Civil Apparatus to three new autonomous regions must be carried out through the main province, to be subsequently fulfilled by the relevant ministries if there is still a shortage of human resources.
"We have not distributed the State Civil Apparatus working in the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) of Papua Province because it is still waiting for coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs".
"If there are instructions, we will immediately shift and if it is not enough, it will be added through the ministry," said Yohanis in Jayapura, Friday (2/12/2022).
In this regard, he hopes that the governments in the new autonomous regions must also build coordination with the main government of Papua Province and the central government, so that filling positions can run as it should.
"It means that if it's not good at first then it will have an impact on the definitive governor and all his devices. So there really needs to be good cooperation between the new autonomous regions, Papua and central governments," he said.
On another occasion, the Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency of Papua Province, Marthen Kogoya, said that the need for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the new province was at least 5 thousand to 10 thousand employees.
"Not all Regional Work Equipment Units (SKPD) will be in form, the main thing is basic service of Regional Apparatus Organization," he said. ***
