According to the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Papua, Adriana Carolina, the level of Room Occupancy (TPK) of Star Hotels during January 2023 reached 26.67 percent, decreased by 12.39 points compared to December 2022, it was 39.06 percent.
"This is the case in the two-star, three-star, and four-star classes, which are 16.02 points, 23.07 points, and 8.78 points, respectively. Meanwhile, the first class has increased by 2.67 points," explained Adriana in a statement to the press Wednesday (1/3/2023) in Jayapura.
Meanwhile, the TPK for Non-Star Hotels, continued Adriana, reached 17.98 percent or a decrease of 4.44 points compared to December 2022 was 22.42 percent.
"However, compared to the same month in the previous year, the TPK of Star and non-star Hotels decreased by 12.87 points and 16.07 points," she said.
