JAYAPURA - Commissioner of the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN) Agustinus Fatem confirmed the reactivation of drg. Aloisius Giyai, M.Kes in his position as Director of the Jayapura Regional General Hospital, Papua Province, has complied with the provisions of the applicable regulations.
This was conveyed by Commissioner Fatem, in a release received by the editor, Wednesday (24/5/2023), in Jayapura.
"Preactivate drg. Aloisius Giyai, M.Kes in the position of Director of the Jayapura Regional General Hospital of Papua Province has been under the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations," he said.
Fatem explained the reason for the reactivation of Aloisius Giyai in the old position, starting from the complaint concerned regarding his dismissal from the position of Director of Jayapura Regional Hospital on August 19, 2021.
The State Civil Apparatus Commission under the authority conducted a data search on the complaint and found an alleged violation of the merit system in the dismissal of Aloisius Giyai.
"Several things have been done regarding the complaint, namely on April 25, 2022, the letter was issued Number: B-1623 / JP.01/04/2022 about recommendations for the budget of the merit system within the scope of the Papua Provincial Government with substance if the dismissal of Aloisius Giyaifrom the position of Director of the Jayapura Regional Hospital is proven not under the provisions of the applicable regulations, then KASN recommends to the Governor of Papua to return to his original position or another equivalent within the Papua Provincial Government, "explained Fatem.
Meanwhile, continued Fatem, on his way, it was known that there was a process of transferring civil servants from the Papua Provincial Government to the Central Papua Provincial Government, on December 7, 2022, the Acting Governor of Central Papua submitted a letter to the Acting Head of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Number: 100.2.2.6./42/PPT about application for transfer of State Civil Apparatus to the Central Papua Provincial Government, the substance of which is that the Intan Jaya Regency Government proposed dr. Anton Tony Mote is to be transferred.

"Because of the transfer of Anton Mote to Central Papua, the position of Director of Jayapura Regional Hospital has been vacant. So that against the vacancy, the Acting Governor of Papua decided to reactivate Aloisius Giyai, in his original position as Director of Jayapura Regional Hospital through the Decree of the Governor of Papua Number: SK.821.2-1260 dated May 3, 2023, concerning the Cancellation/Revocation of the Decree of the Governor of Papua Number: SK.821.2-2231 dated August 19, 2021. "

Previously, the Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun ended the polemic over the position of Director of the Jayapura Regional Hospital, there were mutual claims between Aloisius Giyai and Anton Mote. Governor Ridwan ensured that the position of Jayapura Hospital is now held by Aloisius Giyai. The return of the position is based on the recommendation of the State Civil Apparatus Commission.
