JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government immediately conducted socialization and education for all state civil servants (ASN) to ward off the dangers of online gambling among civil servants.
Socialization is carried out at the provincial level and among regional heads, leaders and organizations of district and city regional apparatus.
"The initial socialization may be from the level of the Government Internal Supervision Apparatus (APIP) and Law Enforcement Apparatus (APH) which also includes online gambling," explained Special Assistant Inspector at the Papua Provincial Inspectorate Danny Korwa in Jayapura City, Monday.
By intensively conducting socialization and education, he continued, it is hoped that no regional heads, heads of Regional Apparatus Organization and Civil Servants are involved in online gambling. It is feared that it will lead to acts of corruption which will then impact state losses.
"Online gambling is very vague and can damage the order of government, family, children and ourselves, therefore we appeal to all civil servants to take care of themselves and not participate it," he said.
While questioning the sanctions, Danny said the Papua Provincial Government through the local Inspectorate would firmly raise the relevant Civil Servants.
The heaviest sanction is disrespectful dismissal from State Civil Servants.
"That's why we ask the public to report if they know that ASNs are playing Online gambling ".
"The sanction until dismissal because by playing online gambling there will be the potential for corruption to harm the country," he said again.
