JAYAPURA - The Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Governor appreciated the service of health workers in Mamberamo Raya Regency. The presence of these health workers is proof that the state is present to provide services to all local communities.
"I appreciate all the (health) apparatus who work with a high level of difficulty but can work in this place."
"The hard and smart work that you (health workers) do, gives an idea that the state is present to provide services. Thank you infinitely for your dedication to work here," said Governor Ridwan when reviewing the implementation of the National Polio Immunization Week (PIN) and health services at Kawera Hospital, Mamberamo Raya Regency, Friday (12/7/2024).
Meanwhile, the Governor explained the purpose of the visit to Mamberamo Raya in addition to checking the national work program on stunting, extreme poverty, inflation and Polio Immunization, the Papua Provincial Government brought along some specialist doctors to provide direct services to the local community.
"There are pediatricians, obstetricians and dermatologists present. Hopefully, it can be useful for the community here, because they come with medicine and immediately provide services," he explained.
On that occasion, the Governor advised local health workers to carry out the treatment to residents in need door-to-door. Moreover, Mamberamo Raya Regency has difficult access and topography.
"If there is a doctor, dedicate himself to providing treatment to residents' homes. Because not all residents can have access to treatment because of difficult access problems," he concluded. ***
