JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong is scheduled to become the Ceremony Inspector for the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, at the Jayapura Mandala Stadium on August 17, 2024.
"The ceremony started at around 10 a.m. The Inspector of Ceremonies is the Acting Governor of Papua," said the Head of the Communication and Informatics Service, Jeri A. Yudianto, after accompanying the Acting Governor Limbong, while reviewing the rehearsal for the Indonesian Independence Day ceremony, at the Mandala Jayapura Stadium, Thursday (15/8/2024).
Meanwhile, the Acting Governor Limbong when reviewing was accompanied by the Assistant for Government and Development of the Papua Regional Secretary Yohanes Walilo, the Assistant for Economy and Maritime Affairs of the Papua Regional Secretary Setyo Wahyudi and the Head of the Papua Regional Police Musa Isir.
Jeri on that occasion invited all Papuans to raise the red and white flag in their respective homes.
He also appealed to all motor vehicle owners to participate in revitalizing the independence of the Republic of Indonesia by installing red and white flag ornaments on their cars or motorcycles.
"Because we want the Indonesian Independence Day in Papua to run lively during and after Independence Day," said Jeri. ***
