JAYAPURA - Media Center Peparnas XVI Papua resmi beroperasi hari ini, Selasa (2/11/2021).
Media Center Peparnas berlokasi di Hotel Swissbell, Kota Jayapura, akan beroperasi mulai 2 hingga 15 November 2021.
Pengoperasian media center di hari pertama langsung dipantau Direktur Jenderal Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik, Usman Kansong, Deputi V KSP, Jaleswari Pramodawardhani, Wakil Bidang Prestasi NPCI, Slamet Widodo, Wakil Ketua II PB Peparnas, Hans Hamadi dan Wakil Walikota Jayapura, Rustam Saru,.
Dirjen IKP, Usman Kansong dalam keterangan kepada pers usai peninjauan media center menyatakan kesiapan institusinya mendukung penyelengaraan Peparnas XVI Papua.
Dimana salah satu bentuknya dengan menyiapkan Media Center Peparnas oleh Kemenkominfo untuk memfasilitasi peliputan seluruh pertandingan bagi awak media.
Sementara Deputi V KSP, Jaleswari berharap lewat fasilitasi media center oleh Kominfo RI, diharapkan mampu menghasilkan informasi terbaik dari sebuah perhelatan pesta olahraga terbesar di kawasan pasifik ini.
Senada disampaikan Wakil Ketua II PB Peparnas XVI Papua, Hans Hamadi. Ia pun mengharapkan kehadiran Media Center bakal semakin mempercepat sampainya informasi kepada masyarakat.
"Sehingga masyarakat dapat mengetahui hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan Peparnas secara cepat,” tandasnya.
Diketahui, pertandingan Peparnas XVI akan digelar mulai 2 hingga 15 November 2021 mendatang.
Pelaksanaan Peparnas XVI diselenggarakan di dua klaster, yakni Kota Jayapura dan Kabupaten Jayapura dengan diikuti 1.985 atlet.
Terdapat total 12 cabor yang akan dipertandingkan meliputi angkat berat, atletik, boccia, bulu tangkis, catur, judo, menembak, panahan, renang, sepakbola CP, tenis lapangan kursi roda, dan tenis meja. ***

The operation of the media center on the first day was directly monitored by the Director General of Information and Public Communication, Usman Kansong, Deputy V of the Presidential Staff Office, Jaleswari Pramodawardhani, Deputy for Achievement of NPCI, Slamet Widodo, Vice Chairman II of National Paralympic Week Committee, Hans Hamadi and Deputy Mayor of Jayapura, Rustam Saru.
Director General of Information and Public Communication, Usman Kansong in a statement to the press after a media center review expressed the readiness of his institution to support the implementation of National Paralympic Week XVI Papua, one of the forms by preparing the National Paralympic Week Media Center by the Ministry of Communications and Informatics to facilitate the coverage of all matches for media crews.
While Deputy V of the Presidential Staff Office, Jaleswari hopes through the facilitation of the media center by Communications and Informatics of Republic of Indonesia, it is expected to be able to produce the best information from the largest sporting event in the Pacific region.
Similarly, vice chairman of National Paralympic Week XVI Committee of Papua, Hans Hamadi. He also hopes that the presence of the Media Center will further accelerate the number of information to the public.

It is known, the National Paralympic Week XVI match will be held from 2 to 15 November 2021.
The implementation of National Paralympic Week XVI was held in two clusters, namely Jayapura City and Jayapura Regency with 1,985 athletes.
There are a total of 12 sports to be contested including weight lifting, athletics, boccia, badminton, chess, judo, shooting, archery, swimming, CP football, wheelchair court tennis, and table tennis. ***
