Sofia Bonsapia Resmi Jabat Pj Bupati Biak Numfor

JAYAPURA - Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Papua, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun resmi melantik Sofia Bonsapia sebagai Penjabat Bupati Biak Numfor menggantikan Herry Ario Naap dan Calvin Mansnembra yang purnatugas. 

Pelantikan Sofia yang dihadiri Forkompinda serta staf Pemda Kabupaten Biak Numfor, diselenggarakan sekitar pukul 09.00 WIT, di Kantor Gubernur Papua, Jl. Soa Siu Dok II, Kota Jayapura, Selasa (19/3/2024).

Herry dan Calvin terpantau hadir dilokasi pelantikan bersama dengan istri.

"Hari ini telah dilantik Penjabat Bupati Biak, masa jabatan Pj Bupati Biak satu tahun untuk mempersiapkan Pemilukada serta mensukseskan program nasional," terang Pj Gubernur Ridwan dalam sambutannya, disela-sela pelantikan tersebut. 

Ridwan pada kesempatan itu menitipkan tiga tugas pokok yang wajib dikerjakan Pj Bupati Biak. Pertama, melaksanakan tugas urusan pemerintahan berdasarkan ketentuan Peraturan Perundang-Undangan dan kebijakan yang ditetapkan bersama Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah.

"Kedua, memelihara ketentraman dan ketertiban masyarakat. Ketiga memfasilitasi persiapan pelaksanaan Pemilu Gubernur dan Bupati tahun 2024 serta menjaga netralitas ASN."

"Sementara tugas saudara Penjabat Bupati Biak lainya adalah wajib melaksanakan program strategis nasional dan daerah yang diselenggarakan di Kabupaten Biak. Antara lain, program penanganan stunting dan gizi serta program pengendalian inflasi, ketahanan pangan dan penurunan angka penganggaran," tegasnya.

Sementara Pj Bupati Biak, Sofia Bonsapia menyatakan siap menjalankan instruksi pimpinan. Apalagi Kabupaten Biak bukan daerah baru bagi dia.

"Biak ini kan kampung saya sendiri. Sehingga tugas dan tanggungjawab yang diberikan akan saya kerjakan dengan baik."

"Saya juga akan segera melakukan koordinasi dengan Bapak Mendagri di Jakarta, setelah itu akan bertolak ke Biak untuk melakukan koordinasi dengan Forkompinda, Sekda dan DPR setempat," tutupnya. ***

JAYAPURA - The Acting Governor of Papua, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun officially appointed Sofia Bonsapia as the acting Regent of Biak Numfor replacing Herry Ario Naap and Calvin Mansnembra who retired from duty.

Sofia's inauguration, attended by the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum and the Biak Numfor Regency Government staff, was held at around 9 a.m at the local Governor's Office, Jayapura City, Tuesday (19/3/2024).

Herry and Calvin were monitored at the appointment site along with the wife.

"Today the Acting Regent of Biak has been inaugurated, the term of office of the Regent of Biak is one year to prepare for the election and the success of the national program," explained Acting Governor Ridwan in his speech, on the inauguration.

Ridwan on that occasion entrusted three main tasks that the Acting Regent of Biak must do. First, carry out the duties of government affairs based on the provisions of laws and policies established together with the Regional People's Representative Council.

"Second, maintain peace and order. The third facilitates preparations for the 2024 Governor and Regent Elections and maintains the neutrality of civil servants."

"Meanwhile, the other Acting Regent of Biak has to carry out national and regional strategic programs held in Biak Regency. Among others, stunting and nutrition handling programs as well as inflation control, food security and budgeting reduction programs" he said.

Meanwhile, Acting Regent of Biak, Sofia Bonsapia, stated that she was ready to carry out the instructions of the government. Moreover, Biak Regency is not a new area for him.

"It's my village. So I will do the duties and the responsibilities well."

"I will also immediately coordinate with the Minister of Home Affairs in Jakarta, after that, I will go to Biak to coordinate with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, the Regional Secretary and the House of Representatives," she concluded. ***
