Pemprov Papua Perkuat Sinkronisasi Program Pusat–Daerah lewat KEPP Otsus Papua Provincial Government Strengthens Alignment of Central and Regional Programs through KEPP Otsus
Pemerintah Provinsi Papua menegaskan pentingnya penguatan sinkronisasi program pembangunan antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah melalui peran Komite Eksekutif Percepatan Pembangunan Otonomi Khusus (KEPP Otsus) Papua. Penegasan ini mengemuka dalam pertemuan Wakil Gubernur Papua Aryoko AF Rumaropen dengan jajaran KEPP Otsus Papua di Jayapura, Rabu (4/2/2026). This was underscored during a meeting between Papua Vice Governor Aryoko AF Rumaropen and the Papua KEPP Otsus team in Jayapura on Wednesday (February 4, 2026).
JAYAPURA – Pemerintah Provinsi Papua menegaskan pentingnya penguatan sinkronisasi program pembangunan antara pemerintah pusat dan daerah melalui peran Komite Eksekutif Percepatan Pembangunan Otonomi Khusus (KEPP Otsus) Papua. Penegasan ini mengemuka dalam pertemuan Wakil Gubernur Papua Aryoko AF Rumaropen dengan jajaran KEPP Otsus Papua di Jayapura, Rabu (4/2/2026).
Pertemuan yang berlangsung di ruang kerja Wakil Gubernur tersebut dihadiri anggota KEPP Otsus Papua Ignatius Yogo Triyono, Billy Mambrasar, dan Yanni. Turut mendampingi Wakil Gubernur, Penjabat Sekda Papua Christian Sohilait serta Kepala Bapperida Papua Muflih Musaad.
Wakil Gubernur Aryoko menyampaikan, KEPP Otsus memiliki posisi strategis sebagai penghubung langsung pemerintah daerah dengan Presiden RI. Peran ini dinilai penting untuk memastikan arah pembangunan Papua lima tahun ke depan sejalan dengan kebijakan nasional.
“KEPP Otsus menjadi jalur koordinasi yang lebih cepat dan efektif untuk menyampaikan kebutuhan daerah, terutama dalam mendukung program prioritas pembangunan Papua,” ujar Aryoko.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, dibahas pula arahan Presiden RI saat pelantikan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Papua, khususnya percepatan pembangunan di sektor ketahanan pangan, kesehatan, pendidikan, infrastruktur, serta program strategis lainnya. Seluruh agenda pembangunan tersebut diharapkan terintegrasi mulai dari tingkat pusat hingga kabupaten dan kota.
Aryoko juga menyoroti tantangan fiskal daerah yang belum sepenuhnya seimbang dengan kebutuhan pelayanan publik dan pembangunan. Kondisi ini, menurutnya, memerlukan dukungan kebijakan dan perhatian lebih dari pemerintah pusat melalui mekanisme Otonomi Khusus.
Pemerintah Provinsi Papua berharap komunikasi dan koordinasi dengan KEPP Otsus Papua dapat terus diperkuat agar aspirasi daerah dapat diperjuangkan secara lebih efektif di tingkat nasional. Sinergi tersebut diharapkan mampu mempercepat terwujudnya pembangunan Papua yang merata dan berkelanjutan. ***

The meeting, which took place in the Vice Governor's office, was attended by Papua KEPP Otsus members Ignatius Yogo Triyono, Billy Mambrasar, and Yanni. Also accompanying the Vice Governor were Acting Papua Regional Secretary Christian Sohilait and Head of Papua Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency, Muflih Musaad.
Vice Governor Aryoko said that KEPP Otsus holds a strategic position as a direct link between the regional government and the President of the Republic of Indonesia. This role is considered important in ensuring that Papua's development direction over the next five years remains in line with national policy.
"KEPP Otsus serves as a faster and more effective coordination channel for conveying regional needs, especially in supporting Papua's priority development programs," Aryoko said.
The meeting also discussed directives from the President of the Republic of Indonesia during the inauguration of the Governor and Vice Governor of Papua, particularly the acceleration of development in the sectors of food security, health, education, infrastructure, and other strategic programs. All of these development agendas are expected to be integrated from the central level down to the regencies and cities.
Aryoko also highlighted the region's fiscal challenges, which are not yet fully balanced with the needs of public services and development. According to him, this situation requires greater policy support and attention from the central government through the Special Autonomy mechanism.
The Papua Provincial Government hopes that communication and coordination with Papua KEPP Otsus can continue to be strengthened so that regional aspirations can be advocated more effectively at the national level. This synergy is expected to accelerate the realization of equitable and sustainable development in Papua. ***
